Class 10 Turret?

Class 10 Turret?

Has anyone found a Class 10 turret in the game? It's a bit sad having a class 10 capable hardpoint on the Titan but no Class 10 turret...

Unfortunately not. Although if you had checked out this forum around april fools day tho you might have found people claiming there was one

There are some quite tasty class 9's tho - check out Ensign's weapons post for a full list.

Highest in game is lvl9, maybe if the expansion pack comes it'll have more weapons but lvl9 is the best you can get.

best turret ive found for my saber is lvl 9 and thats a GMG turret

i havnt seen anything carry a lvl 10 turret

well, there is a class 10 gun (i think its the most damaging) called: GUARDIAN (1000+ damage) in a wreck somewhere in a system close to rineland

Thanks for the responses folks. My Titan currently has a Salamanca turret, which is class 9 and the best available AFAIK. I used to have a bunch of Class 10 guns from the 80 years war, but replaced them all with Nomad cannon. The two class 9 mounts on the Titan have del Cid anti shield guns.

I've been to all the systems, I'm just wandering around checking out the bases and planets I haven't visited along the way.

I'd replace one of those with the missile launcher of your choice (Firestalker, possibly, but the ammo gets expensive).

My loadout is (either) 2xDIAMONDBACK/2xCERBERUS or 4xNOMAD CANNON, 1xTDC, 1xMoonstalker.

I've been carrying around a missile launcher (forget which, but it's the most expensive one in Corsair space), but I don't tend to use it. I tried torps too, but they don't seem to be hugely useful - it's just as fast to blow away a base with Nomad cannon as with torps, or actually quicker given the rate of fire.

Missiles might be handy in a real firefight where you want to get a few of the ships off your back. Mines don't seem to be hugely effective.

I carry 2x Skyblaster B (GMG I think , with 8.33 refire rate ) + 4* Nomad Cannon
I don't see the point of carrying a missile launcher anymore... you deliver more damage with the cannons....

Heck if you want to look for inconsistencies, there are actually 2 ship models in game that are not used: The Starblazer (Startracker w/ front wings) and a Corsair Freighter. Go figure, the game was rushed. Not to mention all ships have a cloak hardpoint, and there are also covered up hardpoints for sensor jammers, beam coolers, etc. Yett none of which you see in game.

Have spent some time modding but didn't spot the unused ships models... I'll certainly have a look at them!

Torpedos are really useful for frontal assualts in PvP or when you want some NPC to die quick in a level 42 mission, but I've a nasty tendancy to launch them too late and blow myself up in the process... :-(

Missiles are useless??? Man, you obviously haven't used Cannonballs. They will really save your ass. I mean, they are the strongest missiles, and do the most damage save for torpedoes.

I was jumped on my way to Omega-41 by about 9 Hessians in Stilettos. Needless to say, the odds were not in my favor. My missiles, however, were the determining factor. That and my nanobots and batteries.

So I lived to fight another day. Damn Hessians.

With missles I'm able to cut down a group of 5 fighters to 1 or none alot faster than people can with guns.

Guns you gotta focus fire with. Missles....kill the shields, launch a salvo or two, and then turn to the next one and repeat. I can usually get two consecutive ones depending on where the ships are.

Yeah, but missiles - especially the really decent ones - are expensive. Guns cost nothing to operate. I've done level 30+ missions without using missiles. Sure, I lost a lot of shield batteries, but I survived. I might try missiles again for the heck of it, but I think I prefer the "hands on" satisfaction of guns.

Missiles are ok if you wana spend 7000 grand a shot i cringe every time i fire one get your self to the wrecks in the omacron systems shoot the wreck and tractor in sum real guns class 10 jades,class 10 wildfires they are free you can all ways sell them if you are not happy at 34 grand a go nice work if you can get it ...
