Post-SP reputation survey

A few of us were wondering about this in another post but it was heading rapidly off topic, so heres a fresh one.

After you have completed SP does the game reset your reputations to some fixed set, or does it just max out your rep with liberty etc. making it look like everyone ends SP with the same reps? If this is definied in the ini's somewhere sweet, if not i have pinched Sherlogs final reps () so people can say if they have the same (sorry dude, i wont be able to check mine till the weekend..) :


65% hostile:
Mollys, Hackers, Corsairs, Rogues, Outcasts
30% unfriendly:
Bounty Hunters, Republican, Samura, Hogosha, FA, GC, Bundschuh, Kishiro, Gaians, Junkers
65% friendly:
Universal, Ageira, DSE, LPI, Interspace, Synth, Dragons
90% friendly:
Liberty Navy, LSF


So, same or different?

I belive it's fixed to be like how it was at the beginning of the game.

If I had a nickel for every time someone told me that my idea for melting down coins to make a giant robotic parrot was a bad idea, I would have one kicka$$ giant robotic parrot.

It's fixed throughout. A few times I worked my butt off for the Bretonia Police and Armed Forces only to see that I'm back to neutral as soon as Juni comes with another mission.

Yes, I have come to the same conclusion. Instead of bumping your rep values in a clever & mysterious manner the game simply replaces them with fixed, predetermined values when the campaign ends. Bit of a disappointment.

I managed to locate the savegames that I had made after four different runs through the campaign, converted them to text and diffed them with my text editor. All rep values were exactly the same even though the # of off-duty kills varied by a factor of 100.

That is to say, almost all rep values where exactly the same. Three did differ slightly among the four savegames:

house = -0.9, fc_ln_grp
house = -0.71, fc_kn_grp
house = -0.9, fc_rn_grp


These seem to be aliases for li_n_grp (Liberty Navy), k_n_grp (Kusari Naval Forces) and rh_n_grp (Rheinland Militär) respectively. No idea what their purpose is.

Well, thats a bit of a let down. Still at least it opens up the mystery of those house aliases, i'll add them to my list of things to investigate when i bother my arse to get into modding
