You cant you get if from the wrecks outside the Unknow jump hole in Omicrom Alpha. That's if someone hasnt already beat you to them so you'll have to wait until they respawn, usually after a server restart.

A quick spy at the haens wereck list reveals that there should be 4 wrecks where you can get the ripper launcher at. I know there's def. 2 cause i rememeber selling one to get cash (in SP) then reading here that the kicked ass and going back and getting another one.

Still, like Pinger says, they will still probably all gone in MP. If i am ever lucky enough to get there first i usually grab alot of the gear

Also note: Even if the server resets and the wreck itself comes back, if you have picked up the weapons before the reset the guns will simply blow up when you try to loot it the second time.

Oh so much misinformation, all because one person was too lazy to read through or search earlier posts and find the answer himself. Wrecks only working once per player? Right. Doesn't take much experimentation to disprove that one. And wild goose chases to Omicron Alpha? What's the point? Ripper Mines are sold in nearly every equip room, in the ammo area. They cost $7-$8k and you can hold 50 of them!

And GIVEUPTHEGOODS was just being mean. If it's the ripper mine deployer you want, it's not at the Monkey Planet. It's at Cheetah Depot about 15k BEHIND the Monkey Planet.

yo, that the monkey-planet would not be the one is logical because these monkeys arent selling anything usefull

an the thing with looting wrecks for a mine-launcher seems to be veeery - lets say - unusual...

Wild goose chase to omicron alpha to loot wrecks for the launcher? Haens post is stickied and clearly says there are 4 wrecks there where you can pick up 5 ripper mines. If you read the post at the top he also explains that unless there is an asterix next to the ammo then you can assume that you will find the launcher there.

the thing is not buyable, you loot it from wrecks at an unknown jumphole. Check the wreck list..

As you (i think?) spotted i'm not having a go It was rabid's suggestion that myself - and pinger, cooldude etc - were sending the OP on a wild goose chase in order that he could send the OP on a wild goose chase to the 'cheeta depot' that riled me. Especially since the OP decided that to go to omicron alpha was the goose chase and said he was off to the cheeta depot to get the ****. I'm all for wind ups but the guy obviously didnt speak good english and it was his first post (perhaps i'm not as harsh as other with the 'questions dont deserve to be answered if they have already been on another post' theory, but its not exactly like the forum is swamped with posts these days). For whatever reason he hasnt posted again. I say leave the wind ups to unpro

I'm not a dumbass, alright. Go experiment yourself on the Elite server then. I got the Diamondbacks once, and the stuff in Omicron Alpha once, and guess what? When I go back after a server reset and do so much as to shoot the wrecks with Del Cids (Hull damage = almost nil), the weapons fly off and explode. Yeah, right don't say "OMG YOU'RE USING THE WRONG GUNS" because I shoot the wrecks that I haven't looted before with all of my weapons at the same time and the weapons fall off fine.

So, I've experimented myself Mr. robot, and you can go screw yourself. I never said no one else on the server couldn't get them, I said that I couldn't get them the second time.

And I just realised that you've attacked me before. Granted you never killed me but I still think you're obnoxious.
