Do these things actually exist in the non-mod, straight off the disk, universe or not? (SP or Multiplayer, for that matter?)

The Official Guide gives prices for the shields in everything from light fighter to freighter! (But we all know there are no light fighters or freighters that could equip them even if they exist ...)

Every decent pirate base sells Paralyzer missiles! (Not to mention every other decent wreck having 10 of them ...)

If you can't get any of these things, then - what's the point of the above?

(Sorry about the attitude on this post - but is anyone else bored of their Adv Brigandine Shield yet?)

It is not posible to get the mwithout modding. The only explanation for them being left out is that they were forgotten.

The NPC ships have champions and barriers. No way to get them without modding tho.

The paralyzer missile launcher is on the wrecks you get the missiles from but it does not drop. Check out the editing forums for reasons why not, i think it is because they are set up as being on the wings but the wrecks have no wings.

I want the champion shield for multiplayer and don't care about being called a cheat so exactly how do i get it. What mod's do i have to do. I've also been speaking to someone on the styx fl uk server who has the shield by buying it off someone so if anyone on the styx server who has this shield i will pay loads for it.

Ok, stupid cheater, take the shield. Hope you have fun when you realize your shield takes a day to recharge.

LOL aro', you might not mind being called a cheater but being a cheater should bother you. You will be hunted down

Plus like cooldude says 'cause they are NPC only shields they have a recharge rate of 1 so you will be buggered anyway.

The champion shield got a rate of more then 300 to reload....very nice shield...but u only van obtain it with a mod!
