Fustrated

I think I am near the end of the SP. I am in the nomad base after destroying the force field generators. I get the fly to the city crap, I do n ot have any shield batteries left and as soon as we stop by the city I more or less get smoked. Now once I did get to take down 3 or so generators before I bought it, but on the whole I do not last long once inside. Any clues on what I should be doing or a order to taking down those shield generators? There always seem to be a little add or something if you last long enough, is there one here or is this the end I just have to grin and bear it.

Well ... you can usually find some place around there where you can't get shot. When fighting battleships, I always headt below them cause their guns can't fire at a certain point and the ships won't hit you. It's been a while since I played SP but if I remember correctly, there is a place right up next the generators where you can just unload your weapons on them.

Might be an idea to re-do the first part of the mission again - if you hover below the generators you can only be hit by one or two turrets and they dont seem to do much damage, so you should be able to save some batteries.

Well, you can always shoot the nomad intercepters up to get the shield batteries and the nanobots from them. This should increase your longevity.

I believe there are nomad fighters flying around in there. If you get into trouble being short on shield batteries you might consider breaking off from the generators and focus on killing nomad fighters (stay away from the battleships)-- they usually drop a shield battery or two when you kill them. Once you've got a few batteries and aren't hurting so bad, then get back to the generators and finish up.
