What are pirate weapons the best>>>????>>??

I'v done alot of searching, and alot of weapon hunting, and i have noticed the pirate weapons are the best weapons to buy in the game.... Why is this>?
And another thing, he they have these type of weapons, so powerful, and the best ships in the game, why can't they take over. It's just a thought i had.

This has puzzled me too. Once i finished Sp i had the anubis with whatever crap is best for it. I'm thinkin 'whats the point?' i've got the best of the best. I guess thats probably why they did it, if the main systems had had sweet weapons and ships the game would have died after the storyline (the SP game that is). Doesnt really explain all the class 10's tho, Rhienland relics etc - if they had them hundreds of years ago you'd think they would have managed to redevelop them by now.

Its kind of like being a police officer in a bullet proof vest with a gun, walking into a bad neighbourhood and getting mugged by some dude driving a hovertank weilding a lightsaber...
