Is it possible finishing the game using Starflier?!

If you are stuck in a mission and do not know how to continue, this is the place to ask for help. Missing that elusive Level 10 Shield? Don''t know where to find the lost Ohtori ship? This is the only place where spoilers are allowed!

Nah, I don't think you can complete it in that small ship.

There is some missions, I think, where you have to kill something even by yourself, all alone...

Not sure 'bout this, but I doubt it's possible.

Yeah, like taking on a whole Rheinland fleet, complete with a battleship and a few Gunboats. Plus, in the end you need to clean house with a few Nomad battleships right behind your 'behind'.

its only possible if you use cheat codes. but then its no fun.

I seriously doubt it. No matter how much you evade, some shots will eventually hit you, and later on, the ones that hit you will kill your little Starflier in less time than you could reach over and hit your nanobot key. Radiation and mines, also will be killers- The field around the shipyard in Rhineland will dispatch you so fast you'll never know it happened.

And if you just barely squeeze by everything else, you will never be able to get past the Nomad lair. Nomad Lair is the absolute killer because it has a time limit set on it...and let's be honest here, you will NEVER be able to kill those generators in time with a Starflier. It just won't happen.

Reaper: $200,000,000.
Rockets: $100,000
The look on that pilot's face when you launch a full pod of screamers up his tailpipe: priceless

How far did all of you go with your starflier? I kept it until the guy told you to get a new ship from london.

I kept going until after the first mission, then I got a defender

There's a point in the game where missiles or 3 shots of the nomad weapons will blow up your starflier.

Anyway, nobody actually tried because you can't make money in a starlier..

unless of course, you are a Xenos fanatic..

I kept it until i was level 4 and bought a dagger which i then kept until level 10 and bought a Drogermy(sp?)

so far i am in Leeds and just finished a Lv 8 mission for killing Mollys
Used all my Shield Batteries and finally get my credits....
It's fun in that little starflier....uptil this moment
I think i am going to use it anyway until it blows up again and again even i load Autosave

This is my weapons:
LavaBlade MK II X2
LavaBlade MK III X1
Adv. Guardian L.F.Shield (Lv3)
Heavy Thruster

What i want to install in that little ship:
Adv. Thruster
the best mine(forgotten its name)
Adv. Countermeasure Dropper
Slingshot Missile (I have to throw my lavablade MKIII away if it have it, but it's quite useful for large targets like Battleship, so maybe later on when i have to shot down the Rheinland/Nomad Battle Ship)
Why don't i get something better? coz i am using an ordinary starflier.

No way you're going to be able to finish it; I had my Anubis destroyed a couple of times before I could even react and that's a far better ship.
Most annoying one being after you just get back from Alaska and there is a small cutscene interrupting game play. Apparently your ship still moves and takes damage and you can't do a thing about it. Your starflier is never going to survive that.
It took me five times before I figured how to stop running into the minefields during the cinematic cutscene.

And that's not even the toughest mission.

one of the missions has time limit, with two lavablade you wont able to finish it. you can try though. how many nanobots and shield the ship can carry?

I took the dagger all the way to the anubis very frustrating. I traded it in quick smart cause of the nomads but it would be interesting to see if it could be done.

Some people go and do it in freighters, so a Dagger might be possible. IF you armed it with the best possible gear.

But a starflier....no way. Not without modding.

Reaper: $200,000,000.

Hum. With a Dagger the gun classes are two class 3's and 2 class 4's...

And the best Class 4 gun, might be a Pyros Type 2 or a Dragoon Type 2, they do roughly 150 damage...

Well, actually, they do more damage than the guns I used to deal with those Nomads I used Death's Hand MK II's...

Hmm, actually, it might be possible with a Dagger.

Great respect to someone who completes it with that.
