Got this off a German website.

Freelancer: The Reckoning shifts the player into an enormous, new chapter of the epischen Freelancer Saga.
In particular player detail players visit the Sirius sector torn up by the war again, however some months passed since the end of the Storyline in Freelancer.

The key characteristics cover:

- new ones of ships for all houses, everyone with new, singular characteristics.
- a new single player campaign with many new characters and over thirty hours of Gameplay
- new weapons and individual parts, including new camouflage devices and the sensor Hemmer.
- players can educate own parliamentary groups in the Multiplay and possess space stations, which makes it possible clan to really dive "into the play".
- improved NPC AI.
- extended protection against Cheating guarantees the preservation of the Multiplayererfahrung.
- a heap of new editing Tools, which permit it to extend the Sirius endlessly sector.
- systems Zupir, Tosan and Neyoe removed research far of the four main houses.
- extended Multiplayer options including the support for clan and guilds.

The world-wide release of Freelancer: The Reckoning is at present for Christmas 2003 planned and one expects a selling price of approximately $24.99 US."

There was a news item here about a DA expansion pack for Xmas, this could be it. Should be more info after the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) on the 24th hopefully

ed: well only looked at it once never checked it recently and yes was a hoax.
