have I got the best stuff? If not were do I find better?
If you are stuck in a mission and do not know how to continue, this is the place to ask for help. Missing that elusive Level 10 Shield? Don''t know where to find the lost Ohtori ship? This is the only place where spoilers are allowed!

Wow.. Haenlomal must be a software developer ... or at the very least work around them... "Undocumented feature" is a software developers way of saying "Software bug".
Trust me... I work with a team of developers... the term is used frequently.
What is light if there is no darkness, law without chaos, good without evil....

I checked the theory about exit game vs. dock/relaunch...
Result:
1. T/O from manhattan, loot flint, land on manhattan (to sell loot)
2. return to flint: guns and cardamine present (thank you:-) ), loot it again
3. repeat from step 1
it seems that the loot will regenerate every time the system is loaded, this will also explain why this is only possible in SP, in MP all systems are loaded at server startup (i think) therefore: no system reload=no loot regen...
Have a good one...

@Ckaos2002
Yup, you got me. I'm actually working as a software tester right now, but I have had work experience as a developer...so you can kinda say that I've been on both sides of the fence. I guess us software developers us the term "undocumented features" because it sounds so much nicer than "software bugs", thereby boosting our immensely huge yet immensely fragile collective egos.
@NukeIt
Yes, the WILDFIRE Class 10 weapons are those found in the Omicron Beta system, and as I wrote before, the wrecks in that system do regenerate due to some junior designer setting the wrong flag on the wrecks. That may be true for some of the other wrecks too, but I haven't had the time to go through each and every one of them and check out its flag.
@Shadowrunner
That's odd. I distinctly remember looking up the flag setting for the Flint, and it says "visit=16", which is the "proper" setting for the wreck, so it's not suppose to regenerate. Those that regenerate (i.e. Omicron Beta wrecks) have the flag set to "visit=0". However, since wrecks are bugged, I can easily believe the results you've been getting.
Some questions for you:
1) Did you save the game on Manhatten after you've looted the Flint the first time?
2) Did you exit the program (i.e. exit to Windoze), then relaunch the app before trying to loot the second and subsequent times?
I point I'm trying to drive at is to determine whether or not loots regenerate if you're playing SP in the same session. I know that they mostly do not regenerate if you are playing across sessions (i.e. not in one sitting), but I've not explored the angle of loot preserving in the same sitting.

It's the "visit" flags on the wrecks in Omicron Beta that are messed up. They're "0" and they should be '"16", like the other wrecks. It's a mistake, I'm sure. BTW, this is also the case with all the wrecks in Omega-7. There's also a little flub with the property flags on the nebulas in Omicron Theta that cause them not to show up on the map. And then there's Planet Pygar being assigned to the Zoners faction, Planet Gammu showing the information for Planet Junyo... lots of little glitches that, fortunately, one can correct for themself fairly easily.
