I guess I got off easy - End game

So, 15 hours into the game I'm inside the Nomad dome-sun-enclosure-shield thing, flying my Anubis, 4 nanobots, no shield batteries, flying around on cruise trying not to get shot. Finally, some braniac (Juni I think) suggests I blow up the stupid shield generators. Somehow, I found a place to blast away at one for a good 20-30 seconds before a crap load of nomad interceptor freaks start blasting at me. I use my last 4 nanobots trying to get away. Finally blow up the first shield generator...Juni says that didn't work....I'm thinking crap...I'll have to start again cause there is no way I can get all of them (5 I think).

So, I'm flying around on cruise, trying to get the guts to slow down and shoot at another generator when Juni says "I think it works, the shield is down"...and you know the rest.

My questions is, who the heck destroyed another generator....or maybe the game felt sorry for my pathetic self and let me win out of mercy. Who knows?

LOL i think someone in your group shot another generator, cause 2 have to be destroyed before the game ends. yep, you got lucky.

The NPC's do hit things sometimes, guess you got lucky. What you should have noticed is that some of the nomad fighters you kill would drop bots and bats for you, but that adds a risk. But it only needs 2 generators down so maybe you shot it a couple of times and Juni etc did the rest. Usually they hit you more than the Nomads
