Abit of an Abrupt end.....

If you are stuck in a mission and do not know how to continue, this is the place to ask for help. Missing that elusive Level 10 Shield? Don''t know where to find the lost Ohtori ship? This is the only place where spoilers are allowed!

Abit of an Abrupt end.....

Just finished the game last night (well, early this morning really).....
Is me or did everything after mission 9 or so seem to be abit rushed, I mean, There was alot of unexplained chunks that were left out and would have been better if they were added to lengthen the story - and give more playability and depth.....

The last missions were also too repetetive, for about 4 missions straight there was a "base to destroy", "But first, Take out the SHIELD GENERATORS", "Steal something that has something to do with helping Quintane" then "RUN LIKE HELL!".....
lol, It was fun but abit more variety would have been nice.....

Don't you think?

I mean, Great game yes.....but the story could have done with abit more (Though I think the voice-acting was the best i've seen)

yes, but the story is only half (if not 1/3) of the game. You've still got alot more exploring to do. Not to mention that at the end of the SP campaign, you are only at level 18, when there are still twenty more levels to progress through. So even if the campaign ended abruptly, it is not the end of the game.

Yes, And I will DO that but its all abit tiresome if there arent places to say - test your might and impress factions or something, Just something A LITTLE different for those ho finish, at least more than fruitless roaming

it really all depends on how much you can squeeze out of the game. I'd say that it is interesting exploring the edge worlds, the unkown systems, and even just (attempting) landing on every base in the game. However, that is not for everyone. So you can also get yourself a good c10 ship and go pirating. Or get a c10 ship and KILL the pirates. You could go on a legitimate trade run, or smuggle cardamine from planet malta. So I suppose if you are tired of it already, maybe the game really is over..for you, anyway.

I jus feel the game should have alot more to do, thats all.....I guess thats for future titles in the series.....something that attaches you to the game a little more - like I mentioned earlier - more in depth story.....stuff like that, perhaps games to play.....which would amuse for a little longer....I dont have all the answers - and hey, I DO love this game but all criticism is healthy and I'm just trying to point out the few short comings the game has.
Its not about the game being OVER.....I could play this game and do like you said for years, but that would really be making something out of nothing.....perhaps if there were actually challenges in the game after sp mission that involved what the die hard fans would do - roaming around in search of EVERY BASE, etc.....that way once they did do it and it was a chalenge set, with some sort of reward, people would feel more of a sense of aacomplishment when they complete these targets.....

Im sure with some class modders this can be made possible....
