Nomad Lair

No, I am not having problems with the nomad lair mission. SO don't post mission help or I bash you with a dead trout.

What I want to know is the system location of the stupid thing...The game lists it as located in Omicron Beta(from the savegame, but that can't be completely trusted because it also lists Toledo as in Omicron Alpha, which isn't true), and the two systems DO look more than a bit similar. It's probably a dumb question, because it probably pulls an "Osiris" and drops completely off the radar, but if it IS there, I'd sure like to pay it a visit and fly around inside without that annoying time limit impeding my exploration.

So...

1. IS/WAS the Nomad Lair in Omicron Beta. If not, where was it?

2. Does it just disappear like the Order, or does it stick around and you just can't get to it because it's in an SP-only system?

Maybe they used Omicron Alpha as a template, but it actually is NOT omicron alpha. When you are on the Nomad Lair system and open up the nav map, I don't think it shows your ship as in Omicron Alpha, but as in an "unknown" systems.

Probably close to the monkeys.

hmm...i dont think there is a Nomad Lair home system its just noted as 'Unknown' but i guess you can say those unknown ones that you go to from Omicron gamma and beta are the ones...

Ya know..life is a game, a very complex game, the main difference from a computer game is that the game of life has no save reload button...

It's in the Omicron Minor 2 (Omicron Omega) system. You can't reach it in post-campaign SP nor in MP (at least not to my knowledge).
Toledo is in Omicron Minor.
I'm not afraid of the trout, i just don't have any napalm canisters left...

There's a jumphole to it in the rebalance mod. It's an unnamed hole so when you pop through you're in for quite a surprise

I've been there once (Rebalance). I didnt know where the jumphole went to, and did get a nasty surprise. The lair definitely is there, swarms of nomads n' all.

I tried to get to the surface so i could hide in the indents on it but those punks totally wasted me. I'll be back tho...

Yeah, its in Tohuku. Sector B5 top centre. Its not got a name (i'm running v1.0b at the mo, its probably fixed in 1.1) so it shows up as a distance with nothing after it in the 'dockables' list.
