Hi,

Can anyone give me some hints/ ideas on how to get through this mission? I have a heavy fighter with plasma weapons & missiles but always end up getting destroyed! Has anyone any techniques or ideas for the combat element here?

I usually manage to kill most of the enemy ships, then get told to protect the Freighter, but by that time my shield batts & nanos are all gone, so I get wiped out fairly quickly!

As to my techniques - well I am a bit new, so its lock on and go for one ship and that's it! I do try to drop mines when I get attacked from behind, but that doesn't really work.

Oh and I don't want a cheat, just some pointers.
