How do i get to the jump gate in g8 ny system?

How do i get to the jump gate in g8 ny system? It is protected by mines and I cant even get close

You can't. Well, you can get to it , but not through it.
The gate leads to a secret system that is totally off-limits to non-military personnel, and will only open in one of the last singleplayer missions (you'll be shown a small corridor through the mines then - even if you find this corridor on your own and get to the gate earlier, it won't open, i.e. you'll get an "access denied" message).

It leads to Alaska where you can only go to for one of the last missions.It is kinda dull though only a prision and a shipyard.After the game is over the gate is locked.
