the sun

it says in the ini files that it is a protoplanet. i have a pic of it. search for unkown object in tau 37, my post should come up. or i u can be bothered wait for this page to fully load and go down the list

Still, it doesn't matter. If you can't land on it, it's unimportant.

Dunno what that unknown object is, but there is another interesting thing about the suns in Tau-37.

Look up and there's a Medium Yellow sun about 10-15k above the Blue Dwarf sun. That Medium Yellow is touchable ie. crash into it and you won't die, like the sun that's 200K from everything else in the Unknown system (from Omicron Gamma).

I stumbled upon this unknown object just by flying to Freeport 10, and here's two shots I took:

It really seems to be nothing, but it is there... And I think it's just in Tau-37, nowhere else...

I targeted it from my Nav Map and discovered it was there, then flew up to check it out. It didn't come up with that Ëntering Sun Corona" crap until I was 2k away, so I slowed down and then used short bursts of thruster until I hit it. The cool thing is, it has gravity. If you touch it, then you end up circling it if you just use the thruster to get out. I had to point straight out and activate cruise to get out of there.
