After finished sp...what now?

Finished the single player game yesterday and got myself nearly up to level 32 doing missions for 140000 credits a time......been flying around exploring the robot / ape planets for example and with the exception of bits of Rhineland, have been nearly everywhere..........still takes too damn long to jump anywhere for trading in my opinion (pity there aren't holes to jump from say Malta to Manhatten for example rather than just adjacent systems). Half the factions that I really did well with now either hate me or are very neutral towards me, nomads keep trying to shoot me even through i though they were all gone, GMG ships die too easily (they line themselves up with me and take 2-3 secs to die! - plenty of easy credits and missions from Ruiz)........
Why do the apes and robots know Trent? Is he supposed to have been there before?
Some of the jump holes used in the earlier sp missions have now vanished and need to be rediscovered too.....
Are all groups of ships lying about Nomad traps? eg Near Malta for example, a few Outcast vessels are just sitting them near the unknown jump hole.

Possible bug:
If you have a full hold and jettison some cargo in order to pick up something more valuable, you'll find it won't let you tractor beam any more cargo even though you have space....just says "tractor beam failed" at the time.
Many times I've found artifacts, alien things etc, tried to pick them up and had to leave them because of this.....

I've logged over 200 hours and never had the tractor/loot problem you describe. When I dump something out of the cargo hold to make space, I can then take in whatever I like. Of course that doesn't apply to things with limits like ammo and bats/bots. There is a 50 per item limit on ammo (missles, mines, etc.) and if you're at the limit, then of course you can't take in any more.

Some SP locations are not accessable after the SP game.
The jumpholes to them say "Access Denied". How can one
natural phenomemnon deny access? Dumb. However, you
can 'look' into them in the Nav Map.

After you jettison cargo, don't just hit 'B' , it
brings the same (closest) junk back in. Target the
loot you want and use 'Shift-B' to get that stuff.
