Let me ask you a few quick ?'s. How is your rep with the corsairs? How is it with the Junkers? are thier names in white or red when you check your rep?

there's a list of all the bribes in the game somewhere. take a look at it if you want to bribe them. other than that, the only other way to get them to like you is to destroy as many of their enemies as possible. just click on their faction to see who they like and dont like, then pick an enemy and go hunting. also, do missions (not necessarily from the corsairs) that involve killing somebody who the corsairs hate.

With this game, you must be enemies with someone.
The key is to pick who. I recommend go to Colorado
and kill Xenos to get Silver & good reps with just
about everyone EXCEPT the Zoners. Watch the Zoner
rep carefully. Stop when they are going negative.
Then go to Dublin and kill Mollys & get Gold.
Try to avoid Corsairs, you kill Mollys to get
them neutral. Then try being a Freighter Captain.

my rep with the corsairs and junkers is rock bottom they absolutely dispise me because i did a lot of missions abotu 51 mostly envolving killing "terrorist" factions

oh yeah and how do you find omicron systems and all those other wierd ones im sure ive explored all i can along the trade routes. And frankly im getting bored of the universe

Jump Holes. Don't worry about the Corsairs right now, you can
get friendly with their mirror faction, the Outcasts.
(Just remember what I told you)

ok ive killed xeno after xeno and they are top of my list for people that hate me but its still not had any positive effects on any other reps

For bribing people (you better have alot of credits ) - Hunter's Bribe List

For who to kill to get a specific faction to like you (you better be hard) - the Haen's Rep List

For a clickable map showing all the jumpholes - Dark Stars Map (+Dredds Ship List)

But remember the best way is to just look for the patrol paths youself and spot the hidden bits/jumpholes. If you read the all the posts here you could probably go from having finished the game i.e. finished the missions to having explored all the secrets in a few hours.
