Coiuple post SP Story questions

Does player level effect the loot derelict ships drop, ie I fly an Anubis [only lvl 25 still will derelicts with class ten weapon drops listed drop said weapons, or should I instead wait until I reach 30 and have a sabre/eagle/titan?

On a different line of thought, is the Anubis enough ship to get to 30 and the big boys or should I be thinking of a middle ship, like a hammerhead to get there?

I'm pretty sure wrecks will drop no matter what level you are. The only thing stopping you getting the loot is the hard ass guys flying around near them

As for lvling up in the Anubis, go for it. I'd try out a few of the other VHFs for size tho. The Anubis is pretty manoeuvreable and most people get fed up with the safety of the Titan/Sabre etc. and end up dropping down to a smaller ship in the end anyway.

I'll second that...I bought the Anubis during SP, then went Humpback-Dromedary-Hammerhead-Sabre-Eagle. And now I miss my Anubis. There are more powerful ships, but that one has some little quality none of the other VHFs have-after all, it IS the first VHF available in SP, and it's usually the ship you use to beat the campaign, so it's got a special little place...

Hmmmmmm Anubis, you just miss the RED AFTERBURNERS, when you don't have them anymore!!!

I went back to my Anubis (saved game), it also makes the game a little more fun with the limitations!!!

Levelling up in Tau 23 much to the chagrin of BMM and IMG and looted "Wolverine" which coughed up a couple lvl 7 guns which are unmountable in the wee Anubis, so answer confirmed

31, Sabre with lvl 10 shields, pair of prometheuses and 4 kraken 2's

I presume its hard to get clean again once you go pirate
