Ithacha ..

Well i was searching the wastelands in new york system for some wrecks .. and suddenly i got attacked buy some rouges and i made a waypoint real quick on the map .. but when i looked at the waypoint it came to an reasarch base called ithacha or something, i couldn't find it on FL Datastorm either so i thought i found something real nice here .. but ofcourse with my luck u couldnt dock on it the base had been destroyed .. so just wondering have any of u seen it or is it a thing in SP only .. ?

I think it is destroyed early on in the SP missions (i think you are running away from it at the time!)

IIRC, the base that gets destroyed in the SP missions is *not* Ithaca. IIRC, the description of Ithaca says something about there being 2 research stations in the Badlands, one of them being Ithaca, which was already abandoned.

It's Benford Station that gets destroyed by the Liberty Navy in the Badlands during the SP story. It's located a short distance away from Ithaca Station in a clear area with a small star-like anomaly, which is what Van Pelt (Juni's scientist friend) was studying there. Benford doesn't appear in the MP game. The info for Ithaca just says it's abandoned.
