I'd recommend a weapons loadout of Neutron blasters and a Starkiller Torp Launcher.

The Neutron Cannons (Wakizashi?) may not be as fast-firing or have fast projectiles, but as you only need to destroy the shield gens, power is the only thing that matters, so they're well suited for the situation.
The torpedo launcher does a lot of damage too, although I suggest binding it to a single, easily reachable key instead of the awkward "Shift-W".

Short of coming round to your house and flying it for you theres not much help you can get

Seriously tho are you using your side thrusters/strafe buttons? Afterburning every now and then? Try and avoid using shield batts by running away for a while using afterburners, sharp turns and strafe to regenerate your shields, it is tedious but means you can save the batts for when ur really in trouble.

Also if you use your side thrusters correctly you get a much longer time period to attack the generators. I'll try and draw it -

You are still travelling at the same speed, but 'cause you are going at an angle you get more time to shoot the generator which means less passes to destroy it therefore less damage from the fighters. Good luck.

well I embraced it by just shooting adn strafing , maybe got lucky, strafing does help a lott when firing like the message says with the drawing
