hmm, good question. I know when i'm killing xenos the rep dosn't seem to change if an NPC makes the finnal shot. so you would think it would work the other way too... damn good question. I know that they will hate you for a while, but if you leave the aria and come back... I have to try that and find out.

if it doesn't change your rep, maybe I go get a drome, slide past underneath them, shoot the cargo and beam it in, and by the time they know it, I'll be long gone..

..and I just wonder, where do I buy one of those?...

No, seriously, you CAN do it and get away with it. I also tried docking with some
stations, and while docking, I shot a Starkiller on 'em. Every single one turned
hostile, but the rep remained the same. When I launch out it's still hostile, and
the rep's still the same... And when I leave, and come back later, it's all nice and
friendly again... Cheers!

I ment the 6th tread on the main forum.... the one that says all ships, all stats, all locations...

as for the main point of this thread, that might work. but i don't know about the long run...
