Sorry, I should have said - I meant for newbies. If you start the game and do missions till you've got enough cash to buy a rhino and put the best weapons available in New York on it, then load up with Boron, you can go to LD14 and end up with about 70-80k. Then buy a Clydesdale and trade the Beryllium back, and end up with about 150k. Not bad for your first 3-4 hours play.

That is quite good, the newbie one I like is Cardamine to Manhattan, Food or something to Pittsburgh, Boron to Mahnhattan. Repeat.

My N00B route, I use it a fair amount...

Launch, destroy cargo dumbs (There are ones by Fort Bush as well, but you only need to take out 1-2)

Head to Detroit munitions, buy small arms, take em to Cadiz base, cardamine back, buy Rhino, buy luxury goods, and a better sheild, head to the hawii in Sigma 19, then Artifacts to New Tokyo, Buy a Drone, then Luxury goods to Hawii, Artifacts to Manhattain.

to the manhattain to Hawii trip four-five times, goto Omicron Theta in a decked out Barricuda, get Eagle, kill some corsairs to get good with Bounty Hunters, Get lvl 9 sheild, goto Omicron Alpha while still neutral with outcast, get lvl 10 weapons, back to freeport 9, take missions until you have over 1,000,000, bribe corsairs, get titain and lvl ten sheild. Then goto New York and impress the n00bs.

not the fastest way to get lvl ten, but works for me.

I could have saved myself some time by reading this forum for some good trade routes before I started in on MP freelancer. Oh well, I got to learn by myself, and what I came up with was not the best by anymeans, but with the humpback freighter I made 300,000 on a one way trip. I took Engine Components from Honshu to Freeport 4 in magellan. Then I would go to New Berlin, I think it is, get diamonds, and take them to New Tokyo. After that, continue on to get engine parts in honshu, take to freeport four, ect... I could never figure out something to take from freeport four, or some other system between there and New Berlin. But that's what I did. Took a while, but made me cash.

I don't own this base, but I do have a sizeable stake in its operations...

gold from mactan base in magellan => new berlin (profit of 595).
if u arent neutral to the lane hackers, do pharmaceuticals from freeport 4 to kreuzberg depot, yet for a reduced profit (=148).

and normally after 3-4 hours, im about at level 30.

the routes i use are Engine Components from Honshu to Freeport 4 then Luxury Consumer Goods from Planet LA to Planet Baden Baden then Diamonds from Solarius Station (Omega-11) back to Planet New Tokyo via Sigma-13. This completes one big trade circle. You can get diamonds at New Berlin but they are a little more expensive that Solarius. With my humpback i can clear about 300K for the first two runs and >400K for the diamond run, so overall around 1 million per cycle. All of the pickup points are very close to the destinations so you aren't flying all over the place.

you could "complete" this trip by flying from freiburg station in stuttgart to freital base in omega-11 transporting engine components (675 profit per unit) and luxury food from new york to honshu (240 profit per unit).

cant remember if there was a minefield before freital base though.

overall that would sum up to a profit of 4590 credits per cargo unit.
as it seems quite much in first place, i doubt this trade route if very efficient, as you would have to do it under 43 minutes to compete with the new london => cadiz traderoute.
