It's all about the Damage per Second (DPS)

DPS = Damage multiplied by Rate

Class 10
Nomad Energy Cannon - 2566.41 Hull DPS
Nomad Energy Blaster - 2540 Hull DPS

Class 9
Kraken Type 2 – 2344 Hull DPS
Skyblast B - 2032.52 Hull DPS
Tizona del Cid – 5648 Shield DPS

No matter what anyone tells you Nomads are the best guns in the game. Nomads have the highest Hull DPS and to top it the use NO energy. As far as class 9s go Krakens are the best for Hull DPS. If you want a weapon that takes down shields SUPER fast use Tizona del Cids, they have the highest Shield DPS. Some people will tell you to go with 2 codename weapons (diamondbacks), 2 nomads and 2 nice lvl 9s don’t listen to them. If you want the best set up (discarding missiles) use one of the following:

**Good for person to person combat, takes down class 10 shields like nothing**
4 nomad energy blasters/cannons
2 Tizona del Cids

**Tons of hull damage, a total of 14952 Hull DPS**
4 nomad energy blasters/cannons
Kraken Type 2s

I personally use Nomad Blasters because I like the faster rate.

I like useing the Nomads weapons as well, there with out a doubt the best weapons in the game, powerful, and use no energy, but i also like trying new guns and weapons. I have find several secret level 10 weapons, almost all of them, and the best i have find as far as power goes, is the GUARDIANS, they do 1075 hull damage, but they do take alot og energy.

One other thing, does any one know, when u take a secret weapon from a crash site, how long does it take for it to return>?

I prefer the salmanca mkII because it do alot of damage and has the same speed as the c10 weapons.
