End of game SALE

Just finished the game. I took a look around before I headed out on that last suicide mission and thought... never gonna see THESE prices again...

cut to commercial:
Come on down! That's right, Come on down to the Osiris for Outrageous Orillion's
mega Mega MEGA SALE!!! ....

So I took a gamble and bought a boatload of guns and Turrets @ $70 & $140.
I have a 6 gun loadout for 5 OR 6 average level, in BOTH laser and neutron guns.
I have 7 turrets in both flavors as well to fully outfit a Humpback.
Probably going to be outgunned soon but I figure these will serve me a while.

The way I'm spending money on bats, bots, torps, CMs, etc. figure they owe me.

Thank goodness they didn't look in my cargo hold, now back in New York with
more total firepower than the whole armory!

Did anyone else do this, or is this just a
'duh, of COURSE you do that' kinda thing?

Well, to tell you the truth. The Anubis fighter isn't the best ship that is available. So spending all your money for "the best weapons" on the Osiris is a bit of throwing you money away.

But I too have spend money for the last mission to finish the SP game. I just saved around $100000 to start with the real freelancer part.

I dont have any $ to spent on the last mission so basically i fight with my burned ship and salvage what I cant... though U cant coz its Nomads...

Did occur to me for a while that there might be cash to be made buying guns/equip low + selling high, but i always assumed i'd have one more chance to buy, then it was 2 late.
Anyhoo, like silver said there are far better treats waiting for you than the anubis - and most of them come cheaper than the order guns...

Oh, I agree about the Anubis all right - I'm treating it as an armored Rhino.

The point is, when I go buy that Humpback I'm going to need 6 turrets,
now aren't I? Buy ship & *Clang - Bang*, six Order turrets mounted.
I calculate six class 5 turrets would run me $45,000 but I paid only $420.
Those should suffice. When I finally can afford a *real* VHF, I probably won't
have 6 good guns, but I can always throw the class 6 Order guns in empty slots
in the meanwhile. Reselling these guns/turrets is not why I bought 'em.
