Diamond Runs

why don't you go and rob a bank?...

easiest way to make money is to shoot down the cargo of those long trains..
then beam it in, and sell it..

What we do na?

Diamonds can be mined relatively safely in the mineable cloud next to Bautzen Station in the DRESDEN System. That is, if you're at least neutral with the Red Hessians. It will take a while and patience to fill your cargo hold as the yield is rather low (approx. a single diamond per 10 shots). Reportedly, the yield is higher in Omega-11 in close proximity to the red giant star, but for my taste there is way too much radiation. All the wrecks at the circumference will agree.

The easiest and fastest way is to buy them at Freital Base/OMEGA-11 or Ronneburg Base/OMEGA-5. These two bases (both operated by the Red Hessians) sell diamonds for 198 credits apiece; no other base sells them cheaper. Take the diamonds to Planet New Tokyo/NEW TOKYO and sell them there for 1650 credits. Makes for a profit of 1452 credits per diamond.

I posted a complete list of all mining zones several days ago. Check out this folder within the forum:
