Saber

If you are stuck in a mission and do not know how to continue, this is the place to ask for help. Missing that elusive Level 10 Shield? Don''t know where to find the lost Ohtori ship? This is the only place where spoilers are allowed!

Try the lower-left corner of D-3...I mean WAY in the lower-left corner.

If you didn't know, it's a Hessian base, so make sure they like you.

Ooops, I guess shouldnt have killed so many of them. They didnt like me too much! ROFL

Hey can I switch sides? I really wanna get either a Saber or a Titan ship. I have a Eagle right now and wanna try one of those puppies out. I suppose I could just start killen all my allies huh? Or would that bring more trouble than whats its worth. I've been looking for a guy to bribe so I could get a bit closer to the Hessians or the Corsairs, but no luck.

Later and thks for your reply!

Don't just "kill your allies". There's basically two ways to do this.

First, look in your factions list. Click on the faction you want to be friends with and see who is listed under the Enemies section. Then, target and kill those ships until you go neutral with the faction you want.

Second, kill Xenos. This works for raising your rep with basically every faction out there. The only one I KNOW it hurts is Zoners (although not very much). Also, it might have a slight negative effect on the IMG. Killing Xenos doesn't raise every faction, though...some groups, most notably Bretonians, could care less about the Xenos.

The Corsairs don't much care what you do to Xenos either. I got a bribe for them in Freeport 9 a couple of times...Got a Hessian bribe in Freeport 5 (I think) once, too.

You get nice bribes for the red hessians at any freeport and notably cadiz base in omega-5 (120K ish to make them your best friends)

The Corsairs care a little about Xenos. I've done nothing but kill Xenos bythe thousands for a few days now, and my Corsair rep went from the lowest possible neutral to completely maxed out green.

I must just have not been killing enough of them or something...cool, I'll have to give it a try again.

If you sit outside the xenos base in the colarodo system just sit there and wait for the waves to come to you. They have nothing overly powerful weapons wise so just waste a hundred or so and you will be the most loved person in the universe.

I killed as many xenos as I could. Ouray base, just waited for them to spawn and then slaughter them by the hundreds. :-) I was attempting to get in good with the Corsairs so I could buy the Titan. This, unfortunately, raised my rep with the outcasts/liberty rogues a lot faster than it did my rep with the Corsairs. The Corsairs and the Outcasts do not like each other. Therefore, as my outcast rep was rising, my corsair rep stayed the same, if not went down a little bit. So finally when I realized this, I had to go kill Hessians in Rheinland to finally get in good with the Corsairs.

I don't own this base, but I do have a sizeable stake in its operations...

There is another place that sells the Sabre:

Planet Malta Outcasts

Sorry if someone else mentioned this. I hope this helps.

I just wanted to say, thanks for all the tips.

I camped just outside the Frankfurt to New Berlin Jump gate and hunted the Duamann and Krugars like dogs. In a matter of no time the Hessians were my friends. The Sabre is now in mine and yes, it's very nice.

Next target, The Titan from the Corsairs. I have my plan all laid out and should have it soon.

Happy Gamin all
