diamondback=Liberty Battleship cannon?

If you are stuck in a mission and do not know how to continue, this is the place to ask for help. Missing that elusive Level 10 Shield? Don''t know where to find the lost Ohtori ship? This is the only place where spoilers are allowed!

diamondback=Liberty Battleship cannon?

Anyone else notice the similarities between the shot fired by diamond back and the shot fired by the Liberty battlehips' main canon? Plus the fact that it's a 'classified' weapon...could it be some kind of advanced mini-version of the cannon? Or am I just thinking about it way too much..

By simple looks, basically ANY Tachyon weapon could be the predecessor of the Liberty cannon. They all produce a near-spherical glowing bit inside a series of rings with a rather longish tail...

You may be right, but I still say you're thinking too hard.
