In fact, shields go has high as level 10 for all types of ships, Light Fighters and Freighters alike. However, someone didnt bother to add any LFs or FRs that can use shields over level 7. I think the designers were sleeping in on the day of that meeting. The best freighter in terms of shields and weapons in the game is the Humpback with 250 cargo. You can find its full stats on this webpage. I would like to see end game freighters and light fighters in this game. As it stands now, the only ship worth flying is the Titan if you want to do anything else but trade.

I'm betting on improved/advanced LF's, HF's, and FR's in an expansion. That'd be pretty sweet IMO

As far as the Titan being the only ship worth flying, I'm gonna have to disagree with you, but I don't wanna get into it. There's plenty of other threads on THAT topic.

Your right I suppose, I have been playing with the Eagle since reading some of the posts and find it to be a fun change. Very nimble!

Yeah I flew a Sabre as my first lvl10 ship, then I tried an Eagle and absolutely loved it. That ship is f***ing awesome
