Omega 41 to Omega 11 - Destination Dresdan

I think Im in trouble here and was wondering if anyone had any tips for me. Im trying desperatly to get back to Dresdan to meet up with a few MP friends. Current location is Omega 41, a bit tougher than my curent lvl I suppose. Ran hard there to get a Eagle VHF and I got her. However, everytime I attempt to jump from 41 to omega 11, I get slaughtered on the Omega 11 side. Way to many badies for just one fighter. I've waited to see if I can tag or form up with a patrol crossing over, but I just get sniped to death and have to go for repairs. Has anyone got any advise for me?

I don't know what factions you're hostile with, but I'm assuming Corsairs and Hessians? That's their territories down there. And I hate Omega-41 a lot myself, especially because of the many mines.

Anyways, you could try to jump to Omicron Theta (JH in sector 4F) and then from there to Sigma-17 (JH in sector 3E) which is connected to Sigma-13 (JH in sector 4C). Once there you can use trade lanes back into Rheinland (Frankfurt -> Berlin -> Dresden). Corsairs will be in all of these systems, if you need a neutral/friendly base to make repairs, there is the Zoners' Freeport 9 in Omicron Theta (sector 5E) and Cryer's Atka Research Station in Sigma-17 (sector 4D).

(BTW; are you sure you're only level 1? Your Eagle ship alone should give you quite a level boost.)

I'll give it a try. I'm running outta credits and its gonna be tough repairing my ship soon. Will continue looking for suitable missions, its hard to find missions without multiple bogies involed. I think I need an escort.......
