i did the route planet malta, omicron alpha <-> rochester base, new york

on planet malta u buy cardamine for 300 credits a peace
go to rochester base and sell the cardamine for soemwhere above the 1450 and below 1500 a peace...
on rochester u buy light arms for 146 (or it was 164) and heading to malta

the best route is:
Omicron alpha -> tau-37
tau-37 -> tau-23
tau-23 -> kyushu
kyushu -> shi***u
from shi***u u know the route to rochester

between from kyushu is a jumphole to shi***u... take that 1

sell price on rochester is 1409 (1409-300=1109 profit )

That route would get a bit boring after a while don't you think. Here is the BEST route. No contraband and you get to see most of sirius.

Freiburg station, Stuttgart-Planet New tokyo
Diamonds 308-1650 $335,500 profit in a humpback

Planet New Tokyo- Planet Cambridge
Engine Components 225-1275 $262,500 profit in a humpback

Planet Cambridge- Planet Manhattan

I was going through the trade calculations and there seems to be a pretty good route between Cambridge and Omega 5. Buy pharmeceuticals at Cambridge and sell at Ronnenburg in Omega 5 for $263 profit. Get diamonds at Ronnenburg and sell at Cambridge for $681 profit. I haven't timed it yet, but it should be a fairly quick route. It may be the second best route next to yours.

OK, it looks like their are 3 good trade routes so far.
New Tokyo (Roppongi station Lux Cons. Goods) to Hokkaido (Ainu Depot) for $630 profit. Then Ainu to Roppongi with Cardamine for $331 profit.

Then there's the Cambridge-Omega5 route mentioned above and then the New Berlin - Sigma 13 route. This gives three, short, profitable routes to use depending on which part of the Sirius sector you're in.
