That''s a wrap!
I'm pretty well done playing the game now I think. I put in 65 hours and have found most of the bases/planets. I tried out the Titan and Eagle, found lots of level 10 guns and even got a level 10 shield for the Eagle.
I could spend some time toying with factions to land on the Outcast bases and buy a Sabre but my interest is finally waning. But even so I must say this is by far the best game I've played in years. I spent up to 3-4 hours every night for the past month on this game and it never got dull for me (until now). There is so much to explore I just loved roaming around finding new things. If I were inclinded I could role-play to my hearts content endlessly. And that I find to be what sets this game apart from all the rest.
The mission portion of the game was short but the abilty to take up residence in the game world was just incredible. After 65 hours of entertainment I'm still left with a desire for more. I'd buy an expansion pack or sequel immediately if one was available. Truely well worth my money.
It's open endedness is both it's strength and weakness. As it leaves me with wishing for even more to do but I also recongize how much effort went into the game to give us all there is to do. Unfortunately I'm burning out a tad on it and probably won't spend a whole lot more time with it from here on out. Two thumbs way up from me!
Oon-tee-dee!
