It can be done, play with the mouse settings to make it respond slower, Hovis slows down towards the end of the race and you will get past him, sounds like your real close... I missed 1 gate near the end had to turn round and get it again and still won.... try a bit more, you really don't want to cheat fo ya?

BE SURE YOU ARE IN CRUISE, NOT GOTO.

It's not hard at all as long as you hit cruise immediately when you can start, and then look ahead to the next ring before you pass through the one you're at so you can make the best line for the turns. For those turns where the next ring is a big angle, turn hard just before you pass through the ring; by the time the ship turns to your cursor you'll be through. I beat him on the first try doing this, got ahead about 1/2 way through and never saw him again.

Yea its quite easy.. just hit cruise as fast as possible and go mouse flight and fly thru.. i lost 1st try cuz i wasnt prepared to be shot at at the end hehe.. good thing he gave me a 2nd shot at it =P

I would like to thank you all for the advice. I tried all that. Shift W and stay close to the rings and about everything. I guess I’ll have to put this one away. I hate to leave a game unfinished. I guess when they create these games they sure don’t think about us older geeks. Arthritis and bad eye hand coordination. Thanks for all your support.
