the Newyork minefield

If you are stuck in a mission and do not know how to continue, this is the place to ask for help. Missing that elusive Level 10 Shield? Don''t know where to find the lost Ohtori ship? This is the only place where spoilers are allowed!

**SPOILER!!**

The SP campaign will take you into the minefield towards the end of the game. The Jumpgate leads to the Alaska system, which is a relatively small system with only two bases(a prison and a shipyard). This system is accessible only int he SP game, and you cannot visit it until(or after) its mission comes up.

It IS, however, possible to get through the minefield. There is a safe path through, but I don't remember where.

Reaper: $200,000,000.
Rockets: $100,000
The look on that pilot's face when you launch a full pod of screamers up his tailpipe: priceless

Officer: "Freelancer, what happened to the transport you were escorting?"
Me: "He told me my ship looked wierd...I invited him to have intimate relations with my SunSlayer"

there is a gap in the minefield; if you look at the jump gat inside, the gap is directly in front of it.

i.e.line up facing straight on to the jumpgate entrance and you should be able to fly through in a straight line pretty easily, other than that there's no other real entrance...
