the Newyork Minefield

this is kinda pissing me off now there is a jump gate right in the middle of a mine field in new york near the norfolk shipyard its like impossible to get to the minefield is insaley huge does like 7000 damage per mine my shields on my sabre die in 2 hits then my hull died right after i'm like WTF theres no way to get to it i went over under and around! is there some other way to get through if so someone plz tell me

It's used in the sp story. I think the alaska jump hole is in there. Some nav-bouys (spelling?) show the way inside, but it's not functioning anyway.

Yeah its the New York > Alaska jump gate only used in the SP story

but if you still want to get to the gate, line your ship up with the front of the gate, and you should find a hole through the Mines
