NPC only !

They only way to get your finger on one of those pupies is to mod/hack an ini so that some planet/base sells one.

Without hacking/moding game files, the only avail cl10 shield is the cl10 positron shield, I know the outcasts and corsairs sell them, not sure of others. I have scanned some titans of the corsairs and saw they mounted cl10 graviton shields, which would be sweeeet! to own. But if you really need the others, am pretty sure some previous posts will tell you what mods will make these avail.

Why is a heavier shield even needed? With the class 10 Adv.Brig, even the Titan-riding corsairs are having trouble with me...Only the nomads seem to go through them easily. Unless you like to sit still a lot, a larger shield just isn't necessary.

Or you could hack the st_equip.ini file and change the "lootable = false" line to "lootable = true" and bingo, you can destroy one of the NPC ships that uses that shield, steal his shield generator, and mount it on your ship. You can do that with other items as well. Try that, see if it works for you.

Gravitons are the best they give u a lot of shield

moleculars seem to have best resistance though,

why would you want that lv.10 graviton shield? you get 2k extra damage but the regen rate is only 1. that would really suck

Yeah that NPC shield's regen is horrible. But if you're going to cheat to get yourself the shield, why not cheat a bit more and make it regen faster too? Hey, why not just give the shield a million hit points and a million regen and be invincible? I mean, really, I have never had any trouble with the shields that are available. They are plenty strong. The only time I ever even need bat's are with the nomads, you just have to be able to fly good enough to avoid shots while your shield regens in a fight.
