Alaska

In the NY System there is a Jumpgate in Zone 21 (sector G5) NY - Alaska. It is surrounded by mines and is a classified military area.

Is there a way in and what do you find in the Alaska System?

None of the downloadable System maps include Alaska...

Is this just a gate to a future add on package?

Any thoughts...

Go play single player and come back after. Then you will notice a lot of jump holes / stations that are missing or cant be used cause there from the single player story line.

FL Datastorm lists Alaska....

But after you've completed the mission that takes you to Alaska in the first place, the jumpnode becomes locked... so even if you do fly through all the mines afterwards you find out you can't get anywhere anyway

Who would want to go back anyways? nothing there but a shipyard and prison station.
