Question on lost naval fleet...

Some random bit of information I picked up (cost me $3500, so it better be worth it...) said that a lost naval fleet was located in the badlands, and I got the coordinates for it. I went there, fighting wave after wave of pirates. It proved to be quite challenging to get there, and to stay there long without more attacks. All I found were little pieces of some purplish "debris" floating around. Mousing-over gave me the white spinning neutral cursor. I shot one, and many more, and there was no loot around either...what the hell is there for me there?! Any help is greatly appreciated.

I guess the info was refering to the lost naval patrol 27. It consists of 3 ships and is indeed to be found in the badlands. Go to Ithaca Station in the badlands and fly north-east from there. A little bit of searching and you should find it. Dont forget to switch your targeting scanner to "all".

the lost patrol 27 DOES indeed drop some stuff, its some guns or cargo i think, but i am 100% sure that it drops stuff

maybe ure just at the wrong place?

You never have been in the Badlands of New York? That's odd. The little purple things he is talking about are nothing but the little destroyable asteroids in the Badlands. The have absolutely nothing to do with Nomads nor contain they any usable ore.

Yup, fly out to the abandoned research station, then fly straight towards the texas jumpgate. zoom in the map and keep your eyes peeled for a red X to appear a bit north of the flight path you are on. There will be three abandoned Defenders witch drop off some level 3 weapons. It's a good find for early in the game. Later on not so worthwhile. Be careful, though, it is in a low radiation field.

Yup, you get some guns and stuff, but you will not get back the money you spent getting the info. Now find the other wrecks out there.

Beside Patrol 27 there are two more sites with derelict vessels to find. Keep on looking.

patrol 27 consists of three fighters, each with 3 justice mkIII's. Kinda pointless i think, you really only gain like 500 credits off of them after you sell them. Plus theyre not even really powerful. Drails are better...

Patrol 27 gives you Justice MKIII's, three per ship. All they're good for later on is selling for cash.

Reaper: $200,000,000.
Rockets: $100,000
