Mission 5 Return to California Minor Problems

Im in Mission 5, where i just started from Research Station Willard to meet Juni in Space. She says something about traitors and that we have to return to California Minor. Then a cut scene appears with 3 military ships but i have no sound in this scene, dunno why. so i dont know if they gave me an imortant hint or not. Then i want to dock at Cal. Minor but i stuck before. My ship stops beneath the docking ring and then nothing...
i tried to dock on other trade lanes, jump points or planets but nothing works.

Please help me with this, im very desperate !

Check the readme.txt in the game folder on how to solve the problem.

Sometimes I wish is has subtitles. But the general rule is, if there are no way points, destroy all hostile ships. If there are waypoints, run for it. If you are at a waypoint, destroy anything hostile..

Most probably you cannot dock because you suppose to destroy those 3 ships first, then follow Juni.

If memory holds there are 3 rhineland valkerys that are sitting there waiting for you. Juni tries to hail them, but they don't respond, you must kill all of them, then you can dock.

No sorry man, i just tried that, but then the mission ends with saying "you have attacked a neutral object" and so on...

is that a bug in the game or what can i do??

Yup, you do indeed have a bug then, Not totaly certain, but think it is sound related, others have had this to, there should be a thread in the tech forum about this. Best of luck

Really? it works? how, plz tell me...
somebody told me that my soundcard (SB128 PCI) is not compatible with Direct X 9. so what shall i do?

YEAH problem solved...Thanks everybody fromn the Tech forum. I did the stuff with the Mpeg Codec and now it works perfectly. Now i also have sounds that i havent heard anytime...
