The exact same thing happened to me
Of course, I wasn't stupid enough to chase an enemy in there, I just collided with a xeno and got knocked into the dock.

I had to load an autosave 40 minutes back

You can wait for somebody to come in.

I even have somebody fly into the dock when I was coming out. This guy was bouncing all over the place and blew up..

I even have a missile missed a target that was going into the dock, and hit the starbase instead, and it turned hostile..

One time I was going to line myself up with a docking ship and launch missiles and fire off my guns etc, but my keyboard (my old one, I bought a way better one now) got messed up and the weapons wouldn't fire and the ship pushed me into the bay, before i was pushed in all the way I hit the docking button with hopes of escaping and lanidng in a different hanger but to now avail! The door closed and I kept bouncing around until my ship was very damaged and I somehow slipped through the station and was free, then went and docked with a planet and dropped a substantial amount of cash to get some repairs.

You acan kill yourself if you boost enough hehe

Havn't you ever wanted to just TURN off that darned automated computer on your ship saying "Warning, Entering Atmosphere?" I mean cmon, I KNOW Im entering the Atmosphere. Thats the point isnt it?

i found if you set stuck in a bay calm down and stop bouncing and click on the staion and redock with it it should open the door and let you out

That's assuming the station is not hostile to you.

I was docking w/a battleship once (Liberty, I think; the ones you go up to get into) and I just cruised to right under the dock and then hit F3, well it told me I was in the queue, and then another ship hit my belly and pushed me into the dock above it. Lucky for me the computer just went to the landing pad view so it didn't cause any problems.

Just on a whim I tried frocing my, Titan at the time into an opening xeno docking port. End result was the xeno who was leaving dock (and was destroyed) bumped me slightly and I got caught in the closing door. If I boosted then my ship took damage, there were still some hostiles circling the base, so no other exiting ship would spawn. Basically I shifted to turret (as my main guns were inside the docking port), bit of patience and time and finally destroyed all the remaining fighters, finally another ship exited and I was able to get free. Won't try it again, but was a fun diversion.

its like getting stuck in a lift with the doors blocking ur a$$ and farting at people. . .

presently, my world is upside down, so if u do not mind, u'll have to tok to my a$$

The solution to this problem is to wait... wait until a ship enter in the dock you are.(it can take long)
