About the SP

Well I picked up Freelancer... and OMG what an awesome game! I played the sp pretty much 1 day staight, and just beat a part about some aliens inside a huge planetary shield thingy. They all get sucked into a hole thingy, and I get put on planet manhatten....

Well the next day I was talking to a friend, and he said you can get way more money delivering cargo around, than in teh dog fights. So I followed some directions he gave me about moving diamonds. And you make alot off of one run. Well I did it, and I jumped levels fast... 18-32.

I got bored finnally, and went back to manhatten... and the story line hasn't picked up yet... I was wondering if you guys know why.

Heh any insight for a noob

Yeper, you have whooped the alien bad dudes. Saved mankind(humankind for those more pc orientated) and received your Lone Star medal to prove it. You are now free to move about the universe. At least till christmas when the expansion (crosses fingers) comes out. They did say what christmas of what year?

There's going to be an expansion? All well and good, but I believe quite a few more people are interested in a patch @ upgrade ^^.

no there isnt any confirmed expansion, only a confirmed patch

No news on an expansion, although I'm sure M$ will want to milk some more money from us loyal fans.

Oh yeah, M$ will certainly milk this one... reason being, I just know they have some of their peeps looking at this very website and thinking "hmm, we could make these FL fans pay us an additional 30 bucks for an expansion... or, hehe, an additional 50 bucks for a sequal... hmm..." of course it won't happen this year (at least I for one doubt it). Maybe a patch... maybe.

Don't know about you guys, but I'm having more faith in fan-made MODs than a patch that improves the game -- but who knows, maybe I'm totally wrong and DA will release some patches or free upgrades to drive this game in the proper direction. Maybe.
