Stats @ end of SP
Wow, now that was a total [blast!!! 35 "in-game" hours later, I've finished the SP campaign but I'm still keeping busy If that wasn't what Chris Roberts had in mind, don't know how much more freedom one can ask for!
But that's for another post (with heading like, "Freelancer kicks ass"...) - I'm interested to know what your Stats looked like @ the end of the official SP game! I read on a few other posts (as well as reviews) that SP will offer 12 hours or so of gaming. Well, I decided early on to try to play my own game (as far as Freelancer would let me) and managed to log in 35hrs "in-game". Including a few necessary re-loads, I'd guesstimate I put in over 40 hours
Obvioussly, I wasn't out to beat the record - in fact, considering the cost of games now days, I am getting awefully tired of these $50 10-level FPS (like Unreal II ) where it's over after a few after-work sessions To this extent, Freelancer represents the best bang for the buck I've seen in a long time
Between missions, I took my time looking for "natural" jump holes, shipwrecks, etc. I was in Kusari, Tauxx, even visited the Sigma systems long before the SP missions took me there. Of course, there were limitations - certain jump holes were closed , I had (& still have) four class-ten guns that are worth $34K a piece - but I still can't use them, couldn't buy the Falcon on Kurile, etc.
Now that I've finished the SP, I thought there would be little to do aside from multiplayer - but I quickly had a change of mind, as there are still many objects left to explore that were not part of SP and with all my side-travels, still undiscovered! This is very cool. To give you an idea of how cool, I've had Rainbow Six: Raven Shield sitting on my desk for over a week now, still not installed - too busy with Freelancer
Ok, ok, too much rambling on my part: what kind of stats did you finish your SP games with?
Mine:
Level 21
Credits 270K
Misions 56
Kills 456
Time 35:20
Systems visited 32
Bases visited 71
Jump Holes found 36
Fighters killed 453
Freighters 1
Transports 0
Battleships 2
