Need Help with Bounty Hunters

Ok, I've never done anything against the bounty hunters, well except the whole Liberty bs, but now they seem to be everywhere I go, and in mass and they kick the crap out of me almost everytime. I'm at freeport 1 and I can't seem to change my rep with them there. I can no longer find missions for the bounty hunters so I can bring my rep up. How can I bring it up asap!!?? I've heard of some cheats with like the empathy.ini file but all I want is the bounty hunters to stop beating the hell out of me.

If you in the SP,... in one of the missions,... or better said after one of them your ship is tagged,...

Get rid of it and buy a other one!

SP? I've already gotten rid of the ship I had when I was in Liberty, this is my like 2nd ship since in Britonia, its the Britonian Heavy Fighter. And I already had bounty hunters on me in the ship I had before the Heavy Fighter, the Britonian Light Fighter.

If I do missions for the Britonian Police, will that help me out with the bounty hunters?

If you are still in SP just move on, your rep will get reset automatically several times throughout the story.

I am still in the sp, but its almost getting unplayable right now. A bit ago I finished the mission where you go to Sprog(sp?) and resuce that scientist and fly back to Leeds. I got back to Leeds but since then Bounty Hunters have been all over me, sometimes over 8 of them.

have you taken any bribes for any of the pirates? a couple of those especially for factions like outcasts and corsairs will most likely make the bounty hunters hostile

Slaughter pirates to get good with them, but after the Sinclair incident theyll be after you again for a bit.
