Kabukicho Base, New Tokyo area.

If you are stuck in a mission and do not know how to continue, this is the place to ask for help. Missing that elusive Level 10 Shield? Don''t know where to find the lost Ohtori ship? This is the only place where spoilers are allowed!

Kabukicho Base, New Tokyo area.

Could someone give me the coords or the general area of this Hogosha base? I'm trying to raise my rep with the GW and Blood Dragons without just attacking police and traders at random, and since everyone hates the Hogosha I figured I could just park outside and slaughter everyone that comes out.

Also, two questions about hostile bases:
1. Is there an infinite supply of enemy ships?
2. Can an actual base be destroyed?

dont have the coord on me but to answer your questions....

1.yes
2.no

to elaborate on your first question, the ships will randomly "spawn" around the base. thay wont actually come out of it.

its kinda scary u know. . . 'randomly spawing around their base' like zergs in starcraft. . .well, b4 u answered that question, i was hoping to get hold of a decked sabre or something and going around blasting everything in sight..

presently, my world is upside down, so if u do not mind, u'll have to tok to my a$$

Kabukicho Depot, the Hogosha base, is in 5C, the lower right part of the area. For your purposes, though, you might be better off making war on Xenos: they're *really* hated by everyone.

Thanks for the info...I'll hassle the Xenos the next time I get into an area where they proliferate. For now the Hogosha seem like easy targets...they drive cruddy ships and are hated by all the people that I want to like me. Also, about reputation...once I max out Hostility from the Hogosha, if I keep killing their ships will my friendliness continue to rise with other groups, or does that stop as soon as I can get any more hated by the Hogosha?

That's a very good question. I haven't--quite--maxed out hostility with the hogosha and the Xenos, although it's very close. Considering how many I've blown into space dust, it's hard to believe. I suspect that my fervor in massacring Xenos my be slightly raising my rep with the hogosha, and maybe vice versa. One thing I've noticed recently is that if I avoid hostile contact with anyone other than the hogosha, and aggressively destroy only them, my rep gradually worsens with other Kusari factions, lawful ones. Haven't quite figured out the logic there.

That's because Hogosha is supposed to be a Yakuza-esque criminal organization that has a great deal of influence in the government. That's why the Blood Dragons and Golden C. hate them so much.

I whacked a single Hogosha CSV near New Tokyo, and everyhting around the planet but the IC base lit up.

Even when a faction says it has no allies, you will find that there are certain other factions that support them...killing rogues will drive your Junkers rating down, since junkers trade with rogues. Killing xenos may hurt your zoners rep, even though neither one will admit to having allies.

The look on that pilot's face when you launch a full pod of screamers up his tailpipe: priceless
