SABRE sucks - here''s why.

Sure the forward facing turret is nice, but is it worth sacrificing two level 10 weapon slots down to level 9? I dont think so.

You're wrong, but the Sabre does suck because of it's low maneuverability compared to the Eagle, which has identical weapon and shield slots.

Think you might be a needin to recheck the ship stats again, the Titan, Eagle, and Sabre all have 2xlvl9 gun, 4xlvl10 gun, and 1xlvl10 turret. The only difference is in maneuverability, turret facing, hull strength, and number of nano/batteries can handle. Pick the one you like and like the one you pick

Ah, don't forget that the Titan has more weapon energy and faster regen than the Sabre or the Eagle... <mutter>although the Nomad weapons kinda make this a moot point.</mutter>

Ahhh but Tasiin...the Sabre does have the forward facing turret, so a bit of difference in the weapon slots, but yes the level and number do match up...

And the others are correct just choose one you like and go with it

The Sabre's my ship of choice. It's more maneuverable than a titan, and more rugged than an eagle....take a hit on ur wings in an eagle and ur out 2 of your guns....it can happen in a sabre...but ur guns are spread out over a lot of wings!
I've never had a problem whooping anythings ass in a sabre? Can u seriously say you have?

I Dunno, I fly an Eagle, 4 Nomad Cannons and 2 Wyrm II's, and I never lost any wings... Maybe I just don't get hit!

I like the eagle cos you can AVOID being shot.

Add the level 10 shield, that helps some

Did you scan him? If so, he might have had 2 diamondbacks in his hold. The scan doesn't show which weapons are mounted.

Btw I vote the sabre. The forward firing turret as got my vote. Stil a bit odd, that you can mount a class 10 turret, but that it doesn't excist in the Freelancer MP universe... I hope they fix this in a upcoming patch.
