Have you ever been in Alaska System???

Yup I've been to Alaska... now how did I got there... I followed the storyline to rescue president Jacobi.. there's nothing special about alaska..

Yep. Same as panostra.
I think it's a closed system after the story, but I could be wrong.
My record says I've been in 50-51 systems and the game says it's 48 systems to explore, so who knows?
Maybe you'll find more answers in the spoiler forum. I still think I have more to discover so I don't wanna go there just yet.

i also think it's closed after storyline..
as far as i know there are 48 common systems and 2 unknown systems..
i found only 1 of them (with planet of the apes)..
where can i find the ring to second unknown system?

The Alaska System is only for the single player storyline - no access after you complete it or in MP.

The unknown jumpholes are in Omicron Gamma and omicron Alpha. So pick the one you didn't check yet

Are u sure???I cud of swore i have bin in there after storyline, unless.........nope that was sumwhere else, but im gonna have a look out for the alaska system, mayb there is a jump hole sumwhere....How do u get in the alaska system in sp?

AFAIK the only way to get to Alaska is through the Jumpgate. Which normally opens once during the entire game: in the SP campaign. Outside of that, you won't get in. Alaska is not available for multiplayer either...

Yep, Alaska systems is only in the SP missions only. You can't access it once you completed the mission.

Saw a post a while back, don't remember who, but they claimed they had been back to alaska. I have personally flown all around that mine field and have yet to find an entrance. I do know those are some very powerful mines.

Entrance should eb on the southside, if it is still there... Maybe they used this unlock gates mod, so that they could use the Alaska gates...

uhh, what minefield? Never played Sp except for the first few missions to get the hang of the controls.
