High level missions: Where?

This has been askd before, I know, but most of the time the answers were like: "yeah I got a lvl54 mission and had to limp home, but forgot where I got it."
So far I only found missions up to lvl38 or a bit higher.

I checked if there's a relation between the combined worth of your mounted weapons and the height of mission levels (i.e. the worth in $ of a nomad weapon is less than that of a lvl10 weapon), but it doesn't seem to be related.

To be honest, I too vaguely remember seeing high level missions, but I too forgot where. I do remember it was one of the only places where the mission actually requird you to go to another sector.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The highest payingmission I've got is 200k for killing bounty hunters. Obtained at planet malta, Omnicron Alpha

Thanks. Been there, but can't remember any high level missions there. I'd go back and check again, but at the moments the Outcasts do not especially like me. At all.
Which is quite okay, since I don't actually like them either.

Just finished lvl 43 mission and got 235k for it. Got it from Crete.

I'm at Crete now (Corsairs just love me). Tried launching and re-docking several times, even switching ships (Sabre/Titan), but the highest paying mission was lvl39 for 130.000 credits.
The only thing I can think of now is that these high level missions are only available in MP. I'm currently playing SP. Would that be it?

The highest mission payment is about 250k + whatever you make from looting. These are mostly found in the border wordls in Omega-41 and the Omicron Systems...

Well, guess what: I'm in Omega41 now, and just did several jobs for the Corsairs there. None were over lvl28, and none were higher than, say, $ 89.000.

So, question is: why do other people encounter high level missions, yet I don't? :confused:

Imade a mission for 140.000$ at Crete, but don't remember the level.

i did several mission for a payment till 230k, think it depend on your own level and your stats to the factions. the best missions i´ve got, came from people in the bar not from the job board and yes, i think the edge and border worlds are the best places to got these kind of jobs too

the highest mission level i had was 43 with 235K reward.

that was on freeport 9 in omicron system.

I think you could get higer mission level, if you are on better reputation with all factions on the base/planet. after I did that level 43 job I made some reputation changes in other systems. after a while I returned to freeport 9 and they offered me jobs with max 150K reward only.

I really dont understand the the system of jobs.

Hmmm. Freeport 9. That's a Zoner base, right? with Corsair missions, yes (with anti-Bounty Hunter missions only)? I'm very much buddy-buddy with both these factions. BUT I'm also very much liked by the Bounty Hunters. Maybe if the BH's hated my guts, the Corsairs would give me higher missions? OTOH, this doesn't hold any water, since the Outcasts hate my guts and the BH's still won't give me high lvl missions against them .

BTW, obvious maybe, but I am lvl38.

oookay. now: everybody telling bull§hit about them doing 200k+ missions - please post SCREENSHOTS. or e-mail them to me at [email protected] .

the highest offer i've received so far (about 80hrs of play) was 145k at crete for killing bounty hunters (mission level 39).

freeport 9 doesn't offer any corsair missions, only bounty hunter ones and they are all less than 100k.

you guys better stop telling lies - or submit prooving screenshots!

i dont play this game for very long yet but i had a little tought about this entire mission thing

mayb it works just like with buying guns
if u r just neutral they wont sell you your best guns

so mayb its related, if u r neutral with the fraction that owns the station/planet u land on mayb they dont offer u high lvl missions and when u r very friendly with that fraction they might give u much better missions because they like you very much

anyone in the mood for trying this? ^^

wright, im flying a startlancer, been doing that for few days already. And if you , bruchpilot, come to tell me you have a ship better than this, you better prove it. Im not gonna take any screenshots as a proof either you know
