Omega-11

If you are stuck in a mission and do not know how to continue, this is the place to ask for help. Missing that elusive Level 10 Shield? Don''t know where to find the lost Ohtori ship? This is the only place where spoilers are allowed!

Omega-11

I am completly stuck on how to get to Omega-11, I can't find any jump gates or trade lanes to anywhere that would suggest a way to get there. Failing that, does anyone know another place to mine for diamonds. Both answers would be preferable should anyone know. Thanks in advance.

A rather comfortable Omega 11 jumphole can be found in the bottom right quarter of Omega 7 (the system that is a brown dust cloud). Sensor efficiency is not reduced out there, so it should be easy to find. Still Omega 11 is an extremely deadly place, the red giant that is at the center of the diamond-carrying asteroid belt emits enormous amounts of radiation, basically toasting every ship in a matter of minutes while mining (in seconds, if you're just ONE meter too close).

Can't help you with other diamond mines atm, though , but at Ronneburg base (omega 5) they sell the stuff for only ~200 a piece. If you manage to haul a full shipment of those to new tokyo, you'll be instantly rich. =)

The mineable areas in Omega-11 have constant radiation damage, so it's a bit of a hassle to mine there, anyway. The asteroid cloud behind Bautzen Station in Dresden has diamonds with a good hit-rate... and no radiation.
