killing battleships ???

Can anyone tell me about the destruction of battleships on multiplayer... Is it it possiable .... are there ones floating about you can or is it a mission. or is it only possiable on single player ??
I see that it is a it is a stat for the number of ones killed so It has to be possiable?

i dont think so, cause when u click on em they dont have a health indicator, same with space stations. now there might be a mission to destroy one, but as far as i know u only get missoins to destroy space stations/weapons platforms.
