Everywhere I go in MP people become hostile!

Anyone ever run into this? For no good reason anyone I come into contact with becomes hostile. If they are full out green they become full out red all of the sudden. Ruined my game. Anyone seen this?

What factions are you supposed to be hostile with?

Maybe one faction is hostile, then their allies are turning against you.

Need a little more info, what sectors are you flying in, where are you in sp game? or is it mp? If some factions are angry with you and some of their friends are around, their friends will join in. If you are carrying contraband items in your hold, and police/navy scan you you will get lots of angry ppl to.

This is in MP. I'm not carrying anything in my hold. I was going throuogh Liberty on my way to Omega sector. Not anyone in particular but everyone that I came into contact with went hostile. I could be all green with them and all of the suddon they would be full tilt red. Not a friendly anywhere. Started with the police and liberty force in Liberty and got worse the further I tried to go. The worst part about it is that I am playing on the side of Law and I would run from them rather that destroy them with my Uberness. Everytime I would run I would hear a bell, like the one when you kill someone, and that was dropping my level. I think that the server was freaking out. It is impossable to play this char. now because of this mess. I've spent all of my money tring to bribe my way back into good graces just to have them immediately go hostile the next time they see me. It is horrible. Can't dock anywhere now unless I initiate dock before they go hostile. The funniest thing is when I am in the cut scene docking they will go hostile and start firing at me. Arg!

Looks like I may have accidentally killed a IMG npc. Sheesh. I guess those guys are pals with everyone. Hoik!

depend on which side you're on, make sure you know who you're shooting at.

Yep, look at your personal record and see if that also says they're hostile.

If groups that shouldn't be hostile are still turning red, they are probably allied with someone else that is hostile.

For instance, for me, the hackers are neutral, and the Rogues are hostile. If I see a hacker, he's white. But if a rogue show up (red), then the hacker also turns red. It makes it tricky to get into mactan base

So try to make friends with the problem group.
