07A "Anubis" Order Very Heavy Fighter ?

If you are stuck in a mission and do not know how to continue, this is the place to ask for help. Missing that elusive Level 10 Shield? Don''t know where to find the lost Ohtori ship? This is the only place where spoilers are allowed!

07A "Anubis" Order Very Heavy Fighter ?

If you can beat the massive Nomads with the Anubis, why do we need to get an Eagle, Titian, Saber?

Just asking, I just made level 33 and thinking about getting an Eagle..

Thanks

The Anubis is a pretty sweet ship (as was the crusader), but you'll enjoy going toe to toe against a swarm of titans or sabres more in one of the 3 heavily armored & armed vehicles better. Plus I dont think the anubis can make use of Lvl 10 weapons, which are lotsa fun

The anubis is a nice ship, but the nomads aren't the toughest group of enemies out there, like lemuri says, take on a wave after wave of corsairs in titans, or outcasts in sabres and you'll have a bit more of a hard time....

anubis is a sweet ship yes

but even in a sabre, going up against a group of bounty hunters could be tough as their lasers rip through your lvl 10 positron shields like they werent there

Sometimes the way the game handles the modifications to your reps during storyline is ridiculous - eg. I understand that after being Liberty's Most Wanted all official and unofficial law enforcement factions are hostile to you (ie. LSF, LPI and Navy as well as Bounty Hunters). But the rep to the large companies doesn't take any hit? So you can fly around as an "Enemy of the State" until you join the Blood Dragons, and suddenly, all Liberty companies (as well as the Kusari ones, which is reasonable) turn completely hostile? But then, after the last story mission, all reps are restored to a "default" value - so I've done nothing against my former SP allies, the Outcasts, or the Lane Hackers, Liberty Rogues, Bundschuh etc., but suddenly they hate me again? - WTF?

But back to topic. About other bases paying back only the small amount of money you paid for the Anubis: Maybe the ship should be worth more in other systems, but - like all other goods in the game - it isn't. The Anubis is just an extremely cheap VHF and thus not available elsewhere but in story missions.

Well, if you think about it, your rep WOULD get a hit like you see in the story when you save a "lawfull government". The bad guys, would see you as a traitor, the other governments would still see you as a bad guy (no matter if you were exonerated for past offenses, after all. You were a bad enough charector to be wanted in the first place.) The Liberty Government isn't talking about what happened in any detail, and possibly even giving false information to keep THIER reputation clear. So, in the end, as in real life, the tendancy to C.Y.O.A. is still running strong. As such, no one knows what to REALY think about "Liberty's Saviour".
